Emigrants
The presidente of the Conselho Permanente das Comunidades Portuguesas Carlos Pereira commented that he found it sad that Portugal didn’t know of the potential that Portuguese emigrants and descendants have for helping solve the economic crisis. He further stated that Portuguese communities would like to help Portugal overcome the crisis but a better understanding of these communities is essential.
