Auto sector has no more to give

The president of Portugal’s largest Club, Automobile Club of Portugal (ACP) has sated that de sector “has no more to give” and that the government should “go fetch money in other places or reduce public spending”. ACP president showed some worries concerning the increase in the amount of people that want the ACP to take action like protests and road blockades because of the constant rise of petrol prices. Thought stating that the ACP has no interest in using such methods Carlos Barbosa reminded that the Portuguese auto sector already contributes to 25% of the total government’s revenues.
