Portugal has 250 thousand “luxury immigrants”

A study shows that there are 250 thousand “luxury immigrants” living in Portugal, mostly in the Algarve but other regions like Lisbon, Porto and Alentejo are also growing in popularity. The immigrants are largely retired, integrated socially and economically above average but don’t present a lot of knowledge about the countries political affairs. These are some of the conclusions taken from a study completed by the “Portuguese News” an English newspaper distributed in Portugal.
