Record Drug bust in Portugal

The biggest ever apprehension of cocaine in Portugal took place this morning in the Algarve and Alenteja region, leading to the capture of 336 bags each weighing 23 to 25 Kilograms totalizing around 8 Tons, informed that Policia Judiciaria.
The National Police Director, Santos Cabral, went personally to Portimão to announce the results of the operation, stating that it represented one of the biggest drug apprehensions ever realized in Europe
The operation that started Thursday ended with the imprisonment of seven people, six men and one woman, of Spanish nationality all from the Galicia region.
