Government wants to recoup 350 million euros

The Government intends to recoup about 350 million euros in debts to the social security. This will be possible through the integrated system of current account, which will disable the possibility of escaping payments to the social security. There are already some 160 thousand contributors identified that owe about three billion euros. The success ratio expected by the Government is of around 10% as stated by the Minister of Labor. For 2006 it is expected a recovery of 350 million euros, which represents an increase of 50 million euros.
